Restrictive sanitary regulations only apply for visitors coming from countries where the Yellow Fever and the Endemic Cholera exist, or infection areas that have been declared by the World Health Organization. In such cases the International Certificate of Vaccination is required.

The entrance of natural products of animal and vegetable origin is restricted.
Animals can be imported, previous presentation of the corresponding certificate.

They will be subject to the Inspection and Authorization of the Veterinary and Phytosanitary Authorities:

- Live animals

- Plants and their parts

- Products of animal and vegetable origin (elaborated or not).

There is not need to be vaccinated to travel to Cuba. Most of the hotels have medical services. In the main cities there are specialized clinics for the attention of the tourists.
